Putting a party together for this weekend can be SO EASY! Here are some appetizers to make all from Trader Joe’s.
I’ll post the pictures first and the recipes all afterwards!
Trader Joe’s Super Bowl Party Finds
1. Layered Dip
You can really make this with as many different dips as you want! Just get a low bowl or container and layer them (it’s not complicated haha!). Here are ones I got:
-
Avocado’s Number Guacamole (sorry I threw out the cover by accident)
-
Chunky Salsa
-
Canned Vegetarian Chili
-
Fat Free Refried Beans (only choosing fat free here since we have other fats in this dip – but I don’t think fat is a bad thing!)
-
Buffalo Style Chicken Dip
-
Caramelized Onion Dip
Serve with chips or veggies like carrots and celery!
Some tips:
-
Place salsa in a sieve to drain away excess liquid
-
Top with a little shredded mozzarella cheese, olives, and / or green onions
-
Chill for at least 1 hour before serving
2. Mini Meatballs on Toothpicks
These can be easy easy as microwaving and toothpicking! I’m using the party size mini meatballs here.
Here are some cute toothpicks – footballs & helmets, “Touchdown”!”, “Game day!”, and footballs!
3. Sweet Potato Fries Topped with Chili & Cheese
What you need:
-
Vegetarian chili, canned
-
Frozen sweet potato fries
-
Shredded mozzarella
Directions: Bake the fries in the oven or toaster oven per instructions on the package. When they’re almost done, heat the chili on the stove top for 5-10 minutes on medium heat. Place the fries in an oven-safe bowl, top with chili & cheese, & put back in the oven for another 2-4 minutes.
4. Pulled Pork Sliders
What you need:
-
Cruciferous crunch collection veggie mixture (located In the veggies section)
-
Aloha rolls
-
Pulled pork (in the prepared foods section)
Directions:
-
Heat the pulled pork on the stove top
-
Spray a pan with an oil spray and stir-fry the veggies for 2-4 minutes, so they’re still crunchy
-
Break apart the buns and put them in the toaster oven
-
Assemble sammies!
5. Cauli Crust Pizza
This one’s just a given 🙂 Bake it for 15-17 minutes (the box says less time than that!)
